It feels unfinished. This is some amazing work but it's obvious that a lot more detail was put into the left character. The accents and details on his clothing and body are more actualized-- the highlights are sharper and his shadows are deeper; there's more realism to him. I absolutely love this, as I played the shit out of this game when I was a kid, but you need to finish it properly to get my 5 stars! :)

LuwyRock responds:

thank you very much for your criticism! True has more details guy! greetings from Argentina!!

Hahaha, #5 looks like Conan O'Brien! :D

Really good stuff. I'd be pretty surprised too. :D What a kinky, slutty turkey. Oh, freakin' sweet-as, I get to be the first to make a joke about filling her with stuffing! Shit... ruined it! :d

ah nostalgia

I'm gettin' a tear in my eye. Those were all my favourite games. :)

Osuka responds:

Hahaha Thanks XD
The game with more nostalgic value for me is MegaMan2, My father played it with me all the time hahaha

it's pretty sweet but...

the reason the eyes are bugging you is because owls are hunting predators and for the most part have forward facing eyes. yours look like they're set to the side the way a smaller prey, like a squirrel's, might be. freakin' sweet as regardless though, dude. :) nice work.

MoriChax responds:

yeah thats precisely why its bothering me.
it kept warping while i was using paper mache.

What a piece of shit!

Craptacular!

Shotgunmadmax responds:

the shitdicks?

so... allay my confusion... does this make your brother and his friend Greek or Gay?

MRat responds:

it's a satire on popular music

Silly blonde, the cooler should be in the shade!

Also, one thing's buggin' me that's keepin' this from a 10.... there's a little weird light bubble on her ass that, when not zoomed in, looks like a zit. And then upon further examination you're left thinking "Huh, weird, she's in the shade, why is there a light bubble like that?"

kevinsano responds:

Yea, I'll keep that in mind in the future.

Wow, 70s funkadelic!

I love the pelicans in the background. :D Nice touch.

HimoruStar responds:

Thank you! :)

nice but way too liberal with the smudge paper :D

I used to have the same problem when I was in art, I would use dark pencil and the smudge paper far too often to try and soften things. It wasn't till later that I started using light pencils to start and gradually shading darker. The piece looks more polished if you start light. :)

Really nice effort though, you caught the intelligence of the eyes exceptionally well. :)

7swords responds:

True, but when one sides all black its a bitch not to smudge it lol.
I'm still in the stage of using the lighter pencil to set up lines and shade points.
I'm not trying to become a master of drawing, only good enough to put down accurate paint lines. still, I thank you for your review, i will try your pencil trick next time.

P.S. oh my god, I just realized I do go dark to light =o.

Life is fun, I like life.
