Reminds me of old cracked style of humour when you're looking underground into the newgrounds headquarters. Really great design going on here, all your colours are great and everything just works. Fantastic stuff!

nice but way too liberal with the smudge paper :D

I used to have the same problem when I was in art, I would use dark pencil and the smudge paper far too often to try and soften things. It wasn't till later that I started using light pencils to start and gradually shading darker. The piece looks more polished if you start light. :)

Really nice effort though, you caught the intelligence of the eyes exceptionally well. :)

True, but when one sides all black its a bitch not to smudge it lol.
I'm still in the stage of using the lighter pencil to set up lines and shade points.
I'm not trying to become a master of drawing, only good enough to put down accurate paint lines. still, I thank you for your review, i will try your pencil trick next time.

P.S. oh my god, I just realized I do go dark to light =o.

Super creepy, this'd be a good pic to use in one of those freak-out flash games where you're just playing some simple game when all of a sudden *AUUUAUAUAUGH!!!!!!!/SCREAM!!!!* the face appears.

I like that it has Michael Jackson's nose. I thought it would've been a waste for them to bury it with him.

need to infuse her shape with the same form you imbue the patterns on her body with. :)

the style's like street-fighter meets she-ra/he-man. I bet when venga isn't calling on the power of gayskull, the unicorn is actually just a tiny chihuahua that he keeps in his man-purse.

so many points of perspective to choose from when looking closely and all relative to one another - such a feast for the eyes! you did a great job of shading/colouring, it's no wonder it took you so long as it all works so well. :)

though... what kept me from giving a 10 was that I felt the edges should have been darker/shadowed to give the rising melty-face-thing more prominence.
