nice start

the bassline seems a little over-filtered. it sounds cool when it's by itself but gets kind of muddy when mixed with the other elements. maybe start bringing the filter cutoff/res down a bit when the strings come back in?

rhythm section needs some work as it's very repetitive (however, I do like the samples used). play around with adding some cymbal action.

great effort, dude. :)

Well done.

Thanks for giving me the cheese for my audio sandwich! :) Loved it, cheesy can be retardedly fun.

I'm about to make lunch...

And you just provided the lamesauce.

I liked the rhythm section

though that bell/square sound got really annoying. did you do the background rhythm on your own (chimes, drips, etc?) or use a loop sample?

Zickar responds:

Yeah i agree, it might have been taken a bit too far cause i found out that beats are the backbone of any good composition but i agree i might have taken it a bit too far .. it became redundant

as for the background rhythm, the original sounds where already by default part of the fl studio but they didn't have any rhythm in them, so i moved them around and to create some rhyth in them .. like i said i'm still new at this so i'm really just working with what i got ... not a lot of creativity involved yet

thanks for the comments though, hope to impprove and my next comp will be better

Great start!

A little overzealous with the rhythm loops. Change them up a bit and maybe work on creating your own rhythm section from scratch (as it sounded like it was mostly from drrex samples). good structuring of your melodies through most of it though some get a little repetitive. Look into playing around with synth settings (like res, cutoff, ADSR, etc.) to get the most out of each sound. :)

Reason rocks!

RemusHellfire responds:

Thanks alot mate i will use the advice :) have a nice day

Good start!

The rhythm section gets fairly repetitive though. Look into livening it up by adding a layer every 4-8 bars (nothing extreme, just subtle differences)

Bit repetitive

Liked the scratching but like d-b-d said, seems a bit long.

sexy space sounds

chilled and relaxed. very spaced out. good production on the rhythm section. a little over the top with the flute though. keep it simpler.

Melodic and energetic

Good start, dude. :)

hessproject responds:

thanks! :)

Good cutscene music

During level-load would be a great spot for this tune.

Psychopath responds:

Thanks for the compliment.
