Not bad, guys

Gets a little off-tempo at times and the mastering/reverb on the snare sounds a bit muddy but good other than that.

The melody got kinda repetitive though I was diggin' the funky bassline when you did change it up.

pretty top-notch stuff, regardless. I don't like how you bring the breath-rap back in at 1:40, it could go without. the flute solo holds enough alone that it really sounds muddy with the rap behind it.

but seriously, are these loops in a program or all your own original work?

thank you :) the piece was an original i wrote while in california. the bass and guitars are all live and played by me. the flutes and violins are from my sound bank, but i played the melody on the keyboard. and the drums were loops because i dont have a real set. thanks for listening :)

lol, that amens drum break is so over-used dude. it died back in the 90s and should've stayed buried!

as for some good monitor speakers, if you're not looking to break the bank I'd highly recommend picking up some m-audio studio monitors. pretty cheap and good quality for the price. :)

This is a pretty abusive review mate. Really, how do you expect me to improve if all you have to say is "cliches are gay?" I'll have you know that everything is a cliche whether you think so or not. Drums in a mix? Pshhh, gay.
