Your 8-bar rhythm track is pretty damn good but the same no-kick hook over and over gets kinda repetitive.
For example, before the drums come back in at 1:40 maybe have a 2-bar hook using some heavy toms to lead in.
The melody change/drop at 1:56 kinda comes outta nowhere as well. It's solid but the way you bring it in doesn't flow well with what's before.

Only a few things I felt I didn't like but they're entirely minor and probably because I'm being forced to use my laptop speakers at the moment.
Regardless, it sounds hot through even these shitty things so top work man. :) Obviously you mastered it at least a -lil- bit for it to be sounding this crisp. Great stuff!
If the few things you didn't like were the sound of the song, it might be the sound and not your speakers, but you can have a listen to it from something more reliable and decide for yourself. ;)

The way the melody was going I was fully expecting some hard drum n bass. :) I think it would've been more suited to the emotion the notes were evoking.

Very chaotic and powerful. Freakin' -LOVED- the metal double-kick action. Very thoughtfully laid out and incredibly provoking.
It was funny, at first I thought you were going for a dark remix of a Billy Idol tune but I quickly forgot that idea as it progressed into something all it's own. :)

Yeah, the double-kick always makes the whole song sound a LOT more intense, plus I tried to add more and more of it gradually to build up a feeling of growing tension. And I believe I haven't exactly had my period of Billy Idol covers, but if I happen to do any, you'll be the first to know! ;D

Nice blend of trance/electro/house, man! :) Had my head boppin and feet a-stompin.
Especially loved the saw bass, but that's cause I'm a sucker for the zipper basslines. :)
The rhodes-style piano at about 2 minutes was a nice touch, especially with the rolling you did with it (coupled with the rhythm synth in the bg).
However, at 3 minutes in it just goes wrong. :p no need to shift the notes up, sounds kinda awkward. maybe do the drop 8 bars earlier cause I didn't like the sound of the pitch-shift at all.
Though I looooooove the piano arpeggio and the kick drops at just the right time. However, the open hi-hat sample you use is too cliche. Used in almost every late 90s house tune.
All in all, a solid track with just a few minor problems :)
