Nice but...
the 8-bit sounds off-key for the whole first 45 seconds. you should've had it in the key at the end. and especially repeat the way the melody works but in that key.

thanks i will keep that in mind ;) ....... ill try to keep doing the megaman inspired rocking stuff hehe
w00t, forum rap!
nicely laid out and smooth rhymin. only thing that sounds a bit weak is the "why you block me fo". maybe use a person that actually has a deep voice for that one instead of such a drastic pitch bend.
other than that, pretty tight. :)
The whole point was to clown his girly voice that he hides behind a voice changer.
Nicely produced
The sweeping arc gets kinda annoying at times when the res goes high but everything else sounds nice. Your rhythm section is all very well laid out and helps build tension when needed.
Good work!
Thanks, I appreciate it :D
Sounds like...
Garage Band?
Or is this all you?
its all electronic
Hmm, nice but...
Your drummer goes off-beat a fair bit and causes some of the other band members to lose their rhythm at points as well.
Sounds kinda like Hot Hot Heat meets Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
Thanks for the constructive criticism, durn! I honestly can't hear what you're talking about, but I may be rhythmically challenged, which may be a part of the problem. :P
Comparing us to the truly Mighty Mighty Bosstones melts my heart. I am flattered.
lol
feels like I'm stuck in Bladerunner! somebody help me!
kinda weird at parts but it adds to the trippy/disembodied atmosphere of the song. neat! :D
I love the synth that comes in at 1:34, w00t! very nice dude.
Love the beat
Maybe play with the velocity on your kick rolls a bit to give a more natural feel. Other than that the rhythm sounds pretty tight. I like the messing around. Sounds great.
Not a big fan of the liquid bass sound you've got going though. Sounds kinda cheesy compared to the darkness of the drums. Use a darker sound? :)
Good work, dude!
Hehe, thanks!
I actually quite like the liquidy sounding bass. I just feel like it's phat enough to support the drums. I get what you're saying about the kick, too. I like it hard and muddy though :P
Thanks again for the review!
Not too shabby
But yeah, the snare roll got a little repetitive. Other than that pretty good work. :) Maybe change up your hook a little bit too, the roll you use could be a bit more interesting. Add a few pitch changes to the snare or add a tom, know what I mean? :)
I only used the roll 3 times but I understand what you mean by it being kinda plain. Thanks man.
Very subtle
Very simple and dark. I like it.
Reminds me of the original Diablo music. Nice work. :)
